Who We Are
Kamini Ives was adopted from Sri Lanka as a baby by English parents, the fulfillment of a prophesy given to her Mother at a Billy Graham Crusade in England. Kamini was just 14 when God told her she too would adopt, a dream many years in the making. Growing up in Sydney, Australia, Kamini’s family moved to Queensland, where she met and married her high school sweetheart Simon. Together they have pioneered ministry in Cambodia for over 20 years. In 2019 they founded Freedom International, doing Human Trafficking Prevention Education. They have reached millions of people with online evangelism videos on social media in Cambodia and beyond.
In 2020 the dream of adopting finally came true, and they adopted Ravi, who became a big sister for their then 6-year-old daughter Elysabeth.
Kamini and Simon’s story is one of overcoming overwhelming adversity with crazy faith. Simon became bed-ridden with severe long covid, and that was just the beginning of 5 years of attack on their family and ministry in every area.
Fighting Back
Pray for your Prodigal is their way of fighting back; not just for their own battles, but by equipping parents everywhere to fight the spiritual war the enemy is waging on families. Simon is a web and app developer, and tries to keep up with implementing Kamini’s visionary ideas! Despite ongoing health challenges, he has completed the Prodigal Prayer Wall and is continuing to develop further tools and apps for the ministry. Phoebe from the United States has been a long term part of the ministry team, and serves faithfully in countless ways.
Kamini loves to say “Keep smiling and keep your eyes on Jesus!” Never has this been harder than in this season of wilderness, heartbreak, and struggle. But she has persevered in faith, and encourages you to do the same. Fighting in prayer in her “War Room” she declares “Prodigals Come Home in Jesus Name!”.

We choose a posture of praise and gratitude - not just for what God does, but for who He is. We glorify the Lord in every circumstance.
Purpose
We partner with God’s will for His Kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven. We trust His timing, His plans, and His ways.
Petitioning Promises
We boldly approach the throne of grace, standing on God’s promises and making our requests known to Him with confidence and faith.
Purity
We desire to be more like Jesus. We continually search our hearts and surrender to the Refiner’s fire. We pursue holiness and righteousness; knowing forgiveness is not optional.
Protection
We put on the full armour of God, standing firm in the truth and power of His Word, knowing we are engaged in a spiritual battle.
Passionate Persistence
We keep asking, seeking, and knocking. We pray with endurance and do not give up until His purposes are fulfilled.
What We Believe
Statement of faith
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead.
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by works, and that all who trust in Him are forgiven, made new, and given eternal life.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who indwells believers, empowering them to live godly lives and serve others in love.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
We believe in the unity of all believers in Jesus Christ, who together make up His Church, called to worship God and make Him known in all the earth.
God's Design for Humanity
We believe that God created humanity in His image, intentionally and lovingly making us male and female (Genesis 1:27).
We believe that these two distinct genders reflect God’s wisdom and purpose and are a vital part of His good design.
We believe that marriage is a sacred covenant instituted by God, joining one man and one woman in a lifelong, exclusive relationship (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6).
Within this covenant, sexual intimacy is a gift from God, to be enjoyed within marriage for the expression of love, mutual support, and the procreation of children.
We affirm that all people are worthy of love and respect, and we seek to hold truth and grace together as we follow God’s design revealed in Scripture.
